National Schools Championships
A series of annual events for both air pistol & rifle that take place all across the UK that funnel into a national final. This is the beginning to the competitive career of most shooters and is absolutely worth entering for all eligible athletes.
The schools championships are a series of smaller competitions taking place all across the United Kingdom. These events then funnel into a final competition, where the top 3 from each event are qualified to compete.
What makes it a schools competition? Everyone taking part in shooting will be expected to wear their school uniform whilst competing to represent your school.
The format is much shorter compared to other competitions, requiring only 20 shots in the qualifying match rather than the usual 60. Young athletes will find it less demanding shooting in these competitions and allows them to gain competition experience without being thrown into the deep end.

Our Involvement
Every year, we take a team of young and talented shooters from the GO Sport Academy to compete. Our goal is to train every young person that intends to participate to a level that they can be confident shooting at in these competitions.
How to get involved
GO Sport intends to make the process of signing up simple. Throughout the range we will have information, QR codes and links to follow that will take you directly to the sign up form. We will also notify and remind you when there is a competition available. If you’re looking for information here, follow the link above or get in touch:
