Who is Go Sport?

Go Sport is the home of Wales’ leading shooting range! Our indoor sports centre is the perfect place for you and your friends to try out an Olympic sport. Go Sport specialises in two main activities; Air Rifle & Air Pistol Shooting

We use high-quality pistols and rifles in our competition standard shooting range so that you can experience an Olympic level shooting experience.

Safety

Air target shooting has an excellent safety record, with one of the lowest accident rates. This is due to a safety culture that is acknowledged by all those who practice in shooting. This paired with our comprehensively trained staff who are always on-site to ensure that everyone is safe and having a great time!

Training

Our Shooting range is the training venue for members of the Welsh Pistol Team and GB Talent Squad. It is the new home for the Carmarthen Pistol & Rifle Club who has produced many elite athletes that have competed at the Common Wealth Games. We are also proud to work & train many other organisations such as the Pony Club, the Scouts & Young Farmers.

Additional Needs

The best thing about shooting is anyone can do it all at the same time. If you have any additional needs, we can use specially designed equipment to enable you to shoot with your friends and family. There are also opportunities to compete from representing your school through to the Paralympics.

Welsh & British Shooting Pathways

Go Sport are proud partners of the Welsh Target Shooting Federation. We work closely with Team Wales to help members reach their full potential and ensure they have the opportunity to represent Wales at the highest level. We have established relationships with coaches on the British Pathway system with the aim to help create the next generation of Olympic Air Pistol & Air Rifle shooters.

Junior Internationals

One of the most prestigeous shooting competitons in the UK, the Junior Internationals are designed to give athletes a taste of what it is like to shoot at Commonwealth, Olympic & ISSF level. GO Sport is proud to be the only club in the UK invited to the event, competing against regions & nations such as Wales, Scotland, England, South Africa & USA

Great experience and great price I visited here yesterday with our 8yr old son, not sure what to expect. It exceeded expectations, the tuition my son received was brilliant and the coaching approach was great for him. He went on to be the best sharp shooter and scored a number of bullseyes. This is not something I would have normally considered but it was brilliant. Really worth a visit, our son was def not disappointed and neither was I.

Awesome place with Amazing staff! We were passing one day and decided to pop in. My teenager has always wanted to learn to shoot. One visit turned into becoming a member of their shooting club and recently he entered his first competition. He came 3rd! Cannot thank the amazing staff enough for their time and dedication in helping him . Always happy to see you, always willing to go the extra mile to help. Many thanks GO SPORT!

Great bargain of an afternoon Excellent afternoon spent in Go Sport. Geraint was exceptionally helpful with getting the group up to speed. Price was great so I'd definitely recommend a visit.

Great idea for fun activity Visited on a rainy day at last minute and had a great time. Rang ahead and easily fitted us in, never done pistol shooting before and it was brilliant. Very good instruction and even better hot chocolate! Would definitely recommend as something fun to do with friends, nearly made it on to the wall of fame! Has parking.

Kid's birthday party This is a great place to go for a child's birthday party, we had a lovely time and will definitely be returning! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Don't hesitate in booking, we can't wait to go back!

Perfect I visited GO-Sport for the first time today with a friend who had never been shooting before. The staff were very welcoming. Kirsty in particular gave helpful tips and encouragement to help us get the best out of our session. Will definitely visit again.

First visit At a bit of a loss on a wet afternoon with my 15 year old son so thought would pay a visit and was a huge success. My son is more a gamer than sports fan but he loved using the rifle and pistol and can't wait to go again. So give it a try, it is well worth the effort.
